Why can’t I just read a book about this topic and watch youtube videos to design my digital workspace?
Sure you can! In fact, I encourage everyone to start with reading about productivity and wellness first and watching youtube videos on creating digital workspaces. My favorite book on intentional productivity is Effortless by Greg McKeown. My favorite youtubers who provide free content on building digital workspaces include Marie Poulin and August Bradley. There is also lovely google!
However, free content on Youtube/Google is JUST the tip of the Iceberg, there is so much more that people don’t show for free online. If you want to fastrack results and eliminate rabbit holes, confusion, and overwhelm, you need information to be dissected and offered to you by subject matter experts that are able to compile their learnings and experiences. What makes me qualified to teach this program?
Education - I have over 11 years of experience in productivity and mastering process optimization. I received my B.S at University of California, Berkeley, and additional certification at Stanford University on innovation and entrepreneurship. I’m a software developer turned engineering manager who is certified in agile development + design thinking which are both leading productivity strategies of successful start-ups. I use both agile development, design thinking, and entrepreneurship principles to instill the same high achieving practices that many successful businesses use to our daily lives with ease.
Personal Experience - I teach my students what I wish someone taught me 5 years ago when I experienced burn out and extreme anxiety and depression during the early stages of my software engineering career. I incorporated over 7 years of learned takeaways and knowledge on wellness and intentional productivity techniques from that experience in the PEase program. I also have applied the key highlights of over hundreds of hours spent reading research papers and books and over 20K invested in wellness and retreats into this program
